Rhetson Companies, Inc, (RCI) is an award winning residential and commercial building company located here in the beautiful Sandhills of North Carolina. It was founded by Brian Clodfelter in 2002 as Rhetson Development, LLC and in 2004 changed over to Rhetson Companies Inc. The name Rhetson comes from the combination of Brian’s two son’s names Rhett and Mason. Rhetson currently holds a General Contractor license in the states of Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina.
As with any company, our greatest asset is our people. We have put together a great team, not only of direct employees, but indirect employees as well including our subcontractors, vendors and design team.
On our residential side we concentrate our efforts primarily on upscale custom homes. We have custom homes in Fairwoods on 7, National Golf Club, Pinewild Country Club, Beacon Ridge, Pinehurst and Southern Pines.
Commercially we have built Advance Auto Parts and Dollar General stores in NC and have completed a Veterans Administration (VA) Clinic in Hamlet, NC, and a restaurant in Seven Lakes to name a few. We continue working on projects in both North and South Carolina.
Since our founding, we have strived to do one thing and that is to bring a different type of thinking to the construction industry. We believe that no matter what type of project, residential or commercial, there is a customer and a builder who must work together to see a vision come to fruition. We believe that quality and professionalism should be on the fore front of our entire team’s mind at all times and that no matter what the challenge, big or small; approaching it with a good attitude is the first step towards solving it.
