Our Staff Bios
Brian Clodfelter
General Contractor / President
Brian is a Burlington, NC native who has lived in Pinehurst for 14
years. He is educated in Business Management and Golf Course
Management, where he studied at East Carolina University and Horry
Georgetown. He worked as a Golf Course Superintendent for the
Pinehurst Resort for 12 years. During this time, he was responsible
for the construction of Course #4, renovations to Courses #1 and #7,
and the planning for the new Golf Village and Pinehurst Courses #9 and
#10.
In 2001, after building his personal home, he formed Rhetson
Development, named for his sons, Rhett and Mason, and began building
homes and commercial office spaces. Today, with the help of a
dedicated staff and with the assistance of some very strong subcontractors, Rhetson
has homes being built in Pinewild CC, Pinehurst #6, Fairwoods on
Seven, and National Golf Club, as well as commercial projects in the
area.
Since forming Rhetson, Brian has had one guiding principle, and that
is to build "Detailed Quality Homes," that not only the owners are
proud of, but that he is proud to say he built. He also is a strong
believer that building a home should be as fun and exciting for the
owners as it is for him. He strives to make the construction process
as interactive as the owner wishes, and a memorable and enjoyable
building experience.
Rebecca Pittman
Client and Design Coordinator
Rebecca is a Raleigh, NC native who graduated from NCSU with a BA in
Communication. She is our Client and Design Coordinator, who
consults with customers in the design of their home, offering
assistance with color palettes, and choosing fixtures, materials, and
other amenities. She acts as the liaison between homeowner,
contractor, subs and vendors to ease the process and make sure the
homeowner's wishes are communicated in the field. She is a mural artist and former small business owner
of an art and giftware company in Raleigh. She has been painting
residential and commercial murals and selling original artwork for
over ten years.
